These beauties are pretty resilient and hard to kill. Adding to that, like other Dracaena houseplants, the Tarzan is effective at purifying the air around it. It’s great at absorbing formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon dioxide to name a few.
Tarzan houseplants are shockingly beautiful. Their spiked leaves are narrow and long, reaching almost a foot in length and jutting out at random angles. It almost looks like an explosion of glass shards just before the blow shoots them out into the atmosphere. The crazy, carefree look of this Dracaena Tarzan is one to be rivaled by most.
Trunks on Trunks
Dracaena Tarzan houseplant’s jagged leaves are supported by thick, tree-like trunks that stand several inches tall. Paired with their creamy, beige color, the trunks really make the plant look like the type of jungle tree you could catch Tarzan swinging on. Some Tarzan’s are held up by one, thick, trunk-like stem, while others are supported by stacks of stems, or groups of 2-3 trunks right next to each other.
The Dracaena Tarzan is easily customized. Once it’s grown out of control, you can prune it into your desired shape. Just cut stems around the area you’d like to get fuller, rinse and repeat. This happens because when you trim these areas, it encourages new growth. Shoot us a text at 609 968 7063 if you’d like some tips or advice on how to style your Tarzan.
