Medium Alocasia Silver Dragon
Commonly known as the Elephant Ear Silver dragon, or the African silver mask, this rare jewel alocasia is native to the calcium-rich limestone regions of Eastern Borneo. With its dazzling, beveled, silver leaves, and contrasting dark veins, the Silver Dragon Alocasia is an eye-catching, small statement plant that will leave a lasting impression as well as bring a tropical feel to any space!
Being that it's from a tropical environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures, slight, evenly-moist soil, medium to bright indirect light and will grow up to 1 to 2 ft. tall indoors. This makes them great to place on a desktop, bookcase, cubby or small nook in your home that is well-lit, but doesn't get direct light! Over time this plant may drop some of its smaller leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant's life cycle as the alocasias tend to have few, large leaves rather than many small leaves.
