The Alocasias in general isn't an easy plant family to take care of and the Hilo Beauties are no exception. But they're so interesting you might as well just commit :)
Hilo Beauties love a bright spot without much direct sunlight. Less light will cause the plant to lose some vibrancy, more light will cause the plant to burn.
Water when the first inch of the soil dries, that's about every week or so.
Keep a humidifier near the plant for the best results.
