Full Size Schefflera Amate
A select cultivar of the Umbrella tree (Schefflera), the Schefflera 'amate' is a popular selection amongst plant buyers because of it's dense tree-like structure, thick shiny leaves and it's resiliency to a certain amount of torture. It will surely make its way to be one of your favorites too!
Lighting
Low light/shade tolerant. You can have this plant in a poorly lit room/area in your home. Just remember the less the light, less the plant uses water so the less frequent you water the plant.
Will do very good in bright light but tolerates a little bit of shade.
Watering
This plant is fairly drought tolerant and neglect-tolerant (perfect for my dad :)
Water the plant when the first 2-3 inches of the soil is dry. When you water, water thoroughly for a continuous couple of minutes across the surface of the soil
