The String of Turtles, also known as the Peperomia prostrata, is native to Ecuador, so they love a moist and humid environment. Their small, round leaves show off a cool dark and light green variegation that makes the leaves resemble turtle shells!
These plants are succulents and love bright indirect sunlight. Full, direct sun will damage the leaves, and the plant will not grow properly in too little light. The String of Turtles are succulents, so it's important to allow at least the top half of the soil to dry out before watering thoroughly.
