The basil plant is a very popular herb native to tropical regions from Central Africa to Southeast Asia. With its bright green, broadly lobed, beautifully aromatic, edible leaves, the Basil would be a great addition, or start, to your indoor herb garden!

Being that it's from a tropical environment, it thrives in warm temperatures, high humidity, indirect bright light, evenly moist soil and will grow up to 1 ft tall indoors. This makes them great for an herb garden in your kitchen or dining room!
