A Perfect Plant Gift
When one is curious and try to cut open the African milk trees (don't do it), they will notice that the plant bleeds a white-milky sap. Perhaps that is why they're called the African milk tree! The milk trees are a type of cactus so they are very tolerant of direct light and withstands drought making it a perfect addition if you don't have a very green thumb. Perhaps the most interesting characteristic about the milk trees is, although they are a cactus, they do have (modified) leaves that grow out of them, giving it a sort-of tropical feel? Modified leaves are a special type of leaf but that's a lesson for another time!
