Being that it's from a dry, rocky environment, it thrives in moderate humidity, drier soil, medium to indirect bright light and will grow up to 8 ft. tall indoors. Remember that their variegated nature requires a little more light than a normal prickly pear cactus. This makes them great for a small space in a very brightly lit room with lots of windows!
