Also known as Opuntia subulata, the Eve's Needle cactus is native to the Peruvian Andes. The leaves are finger-like and have tiny little fingers poking out and around the shoots. They are greenish-yellow in color and can grow to around 5 inches on a mature plant. When in its native habitat, these cacti can grow to be around 13 feet tall!
As a cactus, they prefer drier soil and bright, indirect light. Water thoroughly when the top half of the soil is dry.
