Also known as the Holiday Cactus, this succulent beauty is a hybrid that’s scientifically known as the Schlumbergera x buckleyi. Being that they are native to warmer areas like Brazil, these cacti have the ability to send out colorful blooms all winter, unlike most cactus varieties. When at least 50% of the soil is dry, give the plant a water bath by letting it soak in a tray or bucket of water for a few hours. One final bonus: this plant is pet-friendly!
