Large Bamboo Palm
Now available for NY and NJ local delivery, the full-size Bamboo Palm is so named because of how much it looks like palm trees with a bamboo trunk. Also known as the Chamaedorea Seifrizii it has long, slim, reed-like leaves that spiral outward and cascade like a palm tree. You can really get the best of both worlds when you bring home this strikingly beautiful Palm from our shop. It’s already a few feet tall and patiently awaiting your arrival. These beauties can be found natively in Costa Rica and other tropical areas around North and South America.
Bamboo Palm Benefits
Not only can this Bamboo absorb toxins in the air around it through photosynthesis, but it actually improves the quality of indoor air. The Palm can also get rid of dryness in the rooms it’s placed in. It leaves moisture behind as well as purified air so you can create your own microclimate by buying a bunch of them and putting them all in one room. It could be helpful to pair these plants with others that need more humid climates to thrive.
Trunk Like Stems
The stems look like bamboo trunks, hence the name. Customers love the creamy-tan colored stalks that allow the Bamboo Palm to really lean into the lush, warm, vibe of the tropics. The stems branch off into smaller veins that hold the long, wispy emerald leaves that slink downward in a wide arch.
When grown under the right circumstances, some Bamboo Palms have been seen to grow over 10 feet tall. They are very slow growing houseplants though, and can take as much as 5 years to reach a good height. When the plant is in nature, it’s leaves begin to grow over each other, creating thick, dense Palms that can get pretty wide.
Bamboo Palms, like others in the Palm family, radiate lime and emerald green hues that can really brighten up the room. The Palm leaves splash outwards and hang, like a splash of lime in a tropical paradise.
