Full Size Areca Palm

Scientifically known as the Dypsis lutescens, the Areca Palm is a tropical beauty that keeps customers coming back for more. The plant's tall, feathery foliage grows in thick clumps, spills outward and filling their space. The Areca is sometimes called the "Golden Palm", in reference to the large stems in the center of the plant, which sometimes have tones of yellow.
ARECA PALM CARE
LIGHT
Your Areca will thrive with a bright indirect light, so place the palm in a nice, sunny spot that's near the bright window but not directly in the path of the sun's rays. They can tolerate a lower light, but it will cause growth to slow, becoming smaller and also lighter in color. The leaves turn yellowish-green in direct sunlight.
WATER
Areca Palms prefer their soil to be consistently moist, but not wet. Thoroughly water the soil when the top 2-3 inches of soil has dried, until you see water draining from the bottom of the pot.
GROWTH HABITS
The full-size Areca Palm is a tall houseplant that can grow to 6 - 7 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide!
