Warranty Information
Plant Material Warranty
- Dahing Landscaping provides a one-year limited warranty on any tree and shrub material planted by our company. The warranty provides a one-time replacement within one (1) year. Additional replacements beyond the one-time replacement are the financial responsibility of the client.
- This warranty does not cover plants that fail due to lack of proper horticultural care and maintenance, including insufficient watering or irrigation by the client. Dahing Landscaping will provide care instructions verbally or written upon request, but it is the client’s responsibility to maintain proper watering and care after planting.
- No warranty coverage is offered on plants damaged by weather, fire, animal grazing or rubbing, or acts of vandalism.
- Plant replacements will be completed at the end of the warranty period. If more than 25% of the total plants installed fail during the warranty period, all replacement coverage becomes void, as this indicates improper care.
- Transplanted plant material carries inherent risk. Dahing Landscaping will transplant existing plants to the best of our ability, however transplanted plant material is not covered under warranty.
- Lawn restoration (seed and/or sod) will be performed as needed to return the project area to an acceptable condition. Lawn care instructions, verbal or written upon request, will be provided. But ongoing watering and maintenance are the responsibility of the client. Lawn restoration does not guarantee a fully restored or lush lawn, and additional restoration work is the client’s responsibility.
Hardscape Warranty
- Dahing Landscaping provides a two-year workmanship warranty on hardscape installations, including patios, decks, retaining walls, steps, fireplaces, firepits, pavilions, pergolas, and landscape lighting.
- All structures such as pavilions, pergolas, decks, and home extensions are inspected during construction by certified township officials or qualified third-party inspectors where required.
- This warranty covers construction-related deficiencies including settling or sinking patios, walkways, or steps, as well as loose steps or railings.
- Some hardscape materials may carry manufacturer warranties. Homeowners are responsible for registering these warranties with the manufacturer through the provided documentation or company websites.
- Normal wear and tear is not covered, including but not limited to chipped stonework, damaged deck boards or pavers, cracked finishes, stains from grease, oil, or beverages, light bulb replacement, sun or weather bleaching, or scratching.
- All warranty claims must be submitted in writing via email or letter to be considered.
- All claims will be inspected by a Dahing Landscaping representative prior to any repair or replacement.
