Staghorn Fern foliage is a fuzzy, beautifully muted sage green that will eventually turn into a papery-brown color as it grows and matures. These plants are epiphytic plants, meaning they grow on top of other plants (typically trees). These plants co-exist with their host plant without harming it by getting their nutrients from the air, water, dust, and debris around the plant! Since it's used to the muted light that filters in from the tree canopy, Staghorn will thrive in indirect light. Let the plant's soil slightly dry out between waterings - give it a drink when the first 3-4" of soil is dry.

The foliage will also soak up some moisture, so misting the plant every day or two will also help to keep it happy!
