Commonly known as the Serpent Tree or Emerald Tree, this bonsai tree is native to the subtropical mountain regions of southern China and Taiwan. With its fascinating, unique trunk, tree-like shape and deep green, ruffled leaves, the attention-grabbing Chinese Doll plant will definitely make a statement in your space!
Being that it's from a subtropical environment, it thrives in moderate to high humidity, warm temperatures, slightly moist soil, medium to bright indirect light and will slowly grow up to 4 to 6 ft. tall indoors. This makes them great to place on a desktop, bookcase, cubby or small nook in your home that is well-lit, but doesn't get direct light!
Over time this plant may lose some leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant's life cycle.
