The Silver snake, also known as the Sansevieria Silver Laurentii, is an incredibly easy to care for plant. The pointy sage green leaves are lined with a yellow edge, but have a silvery color overall, giving the plant a mellow color scheme. Snake plants are some of the most resilient houseplants, so they can be placed in a spot with heavy foot traffic.
Even though the snake plant is native to the tropics of Africa, these plants are tolerant of many kinds of environments: low to medium indirect light, moderate humidity, drier air - making them perfect for any place in your home or even the office! The large Silver Snakes come in a 10" pot and are slow growers, but can grow up to 4 feet tall indoors. Be cautious of your pets and young children around these plants: Snake plants produce saponins, a toxin that can lead to a variety of side effects if ingested by your pet.
